Decks & FX
Thursday, 11 January 2007
Remix Black Strobe keeps the content coming on strong into 2007 with a defining podcast that encompasses everything that this bastion of Black Strobe is about. This 30-minute segment of a recent decks and FX show showcases Arnaud and Ivan’s unbinding harmony with the dark matter that supports every dance floor they tear to pieces on every appearance. Due to contractual reasons we are unable to specify where this was recorded, but we can say that it was recorded in November 2006 and that it's pretty God damn sweet.
An Arnaud Rebotini Selection
Wednesday, 22 November 2006
Remix Black Strobe is pleased to present the latest installment in the Black Strobe Pod Cast series. An Arnaud Rebotini Selection invites the listener to join the dots between Black Strobes twisted electronics and their experiments with rock. Kick-starting with Pierre Schaffers forays into sound experimentation the listener is then taken on a rock and roll journey that encompasses music from Sonic Youth, Shellac, the Rolling Stones, Einstürzende Neubauten and finally landing in the misleadingly safe world of Sufjan Stevens. Awesome.

Shining Bright Star (Phones Industrial Version radio edit)
Thursday, 12 October 2006
Black Strobe have conjured up a unique body of work, proving them to be peerless at harnessing the darker side of the dance-floor. As a result, they have been in demand remix artists twisting and tweaking their way through some of the finest names in popular music. Sometimes the process has been symbiotic with Black Strobe, having remixed both Bloc Party and The White Rose Movement, producer Paul Epworth has taken notice and signed up for production duties on their debut album. To celebrate this union we are pleased to offer you the chance to download the radio edit of the Phones (Paul Epworth) Industrial Version of 'Shining Bright Star', a previously unavailable Black Strobe track.
